I signed 50 copies of my books at the Sisters In Crime booth during the American Library Association Convention in Washington, DC, on Staturday, June 26th.

I signed my books and appeared on two panels at the Public Safety Writers Assoc Convention in Las Vegas, The Orleans Hotel & Casino, June 17 - 20.

John was a guest speaker for young writers, Thursday, May 27th, at Spotsylvania High School, in Spotsylvania, VA.

John was the Guest Speaker on Saturday, May 8th @ 1pm, at the monthly meeting of the Riverside Writers, held at Salem Church Library. He delivered a presentation entitled: Electronic Publishing, The future of the industry.

Sunday, 2/21/10, I appeared at Susquehanna State University in PA, and presented a lecture on the dangers of steroids, to the student-athletes.

Sunday, 2/28/10, I was at Kennesaw State University, in Georgia, and delivered a lecture on the dangers of steroids.

John was been invited by The Virginia Foundation for the Humanities to be a panelist at the Virginia Festival of the Book, in March 2010. He was part of a program on Thursday, March 18, 2010, in the afternoon, at the University of Virginia, entitled, "Why we write , What we write," a program that was well attended and very popular.

On Saturday, February 13th, from 1 - 4p, I signed copies of both books at Borders in Central Park--Fredericksburg, VA

Book Signing

John signed copies of "Gripped By Fear," at the Orleans Casino in Las Vegas, Wednesday, Jan 20th, 7 - 9pm.

BOOK SIGNING

John signed his recent novel, Gripped By Fear, on Sunday, Dec 13th, from Noon - 4 pm, at the University Cafe in downtown Fredericksburg, VA.

John signed both of his books, and delivered a brief presentation, at the First Annual Alumni Writers' Night hosted by St. Xavier University in Chicago, IL. The event was held at Gilhooley's Grande Salon, across from the school, on the evening of October 15th.

I appeared at the 2009 SIBA Trade Show in Greenville, SC, at the Carolina First Center, Sept 25 - 27th, wher I signed both my books.

I was at Simple Pleasures book store in Ashland, VA, signing both my books on Saturday, Setember 12th. Here's the link: Simple Pleasures

On Saturday, 2/14/09, @ 1:00 pm, at the Snow Library, John delivered a presentation entitled: “Researching, Writing, Publishing and Marketing a Police Novel”

Guest on radio show "The Watering Hole!"

On Friday,3/20/09, a live blog radio program featured John discussing his new book. Hosted by Lt. Raymond E. Foster. The "Watering Hole” is police slang for a location cops go off-duty to blow off steam and talk about work and life. Sometimes funny; Sometimes serious; but, always interesting. At this Watering Hole, Lieutenant Raymond E. Foster, LAPD (ret.) has conversations with America’s Heroes: Military, Police, Fire and Emergency Services.

John featured in Law Officer magazine!

The January 2009 issue featured John being interviewed by author, Rebecca Kanable, a researcher and writer specializing in law enforcement topics. The article, "Firearms Simulators," explored the efficacy of using simulators to save money for police departments while they have their officers qualify with their weapons.
